Bleach was one of the “Big 3” hits that redefined the shounen genre in the 2000s, and I was easily swept up in the big battles and pretty boys in the series ♥ The story follows the adventures of Kurosaki Ichigo, the boy who unexpectedly gains the temporary powers of a shinigami in a desperate wish to protect his family from hollows. It was cool, fun and hilarious, and is one of the few series where I came to adore even the minor characters – which is saying a lot for a series with an insane number of characters X3

Version 1 features our heroes along with the legendary captains of the Gotei 13 ♥ I would fangirl every time the captains made an entrance, so of course I had to include them all here X3 There are so many cool characters in this humongous series, and I was able to include a total of 15 people on this layout (a new record! it’s a bummers I couldn’t fit more XD). They are basically the rock stars of Soul Society, and I wanted a cool and edgy design to show them in all their blazing glory ♪
