I stumbled upon Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann by chance – I had never heard of the series but took a chance on it because of its high ratings. Well… it was a hell of a ride, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched this series – I like to binge it whenever I need a little motivation and inspiration in life ♥

Version 1 features the back view of Kamina, Gurren-dan’s fearless leader ♥ He kicks logic to the curb and does the impossible, because who the hell do you think he is?! I had a lot of fun creating this design – I wanted something epic and cool, and chose this magnificent image of the warrior who is the embodiment of a man’s soul X3
