When I randomly came across this artwork on the internet, I fell in love with Kusakabe Maron from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne at first sight ♥ My love for her only grew as I learned about her story – despite all the hardships she’s had to endure, she still puts on a smile and fights to save people. She is selfless and brave, but also just a girl in love, and I love how vulnerable and relatable she is ♥

Version 1 Wanted features a colorful blend of images of Maron and her alter ego, Kaitou Jeanne. I wanted a cute and girly design, and the theme is inspired from the Wanted poster in one of the images – it is a story about thieves and paintings after all.
