Nakushita Kotoba was a song performed by No Regret Life and used as the 9th ending theme song for Naruto. It was a raw and beautiful song about the passing of time, and the ending credits for this song was like an angsty hit in the feels – Sasuke abandons Konoha, leaving Naruto and Sakura broken. I wanted a dark and somber design to match the melancholic theme of the song.
