Final Fantasy VII is a classic game with Cloud Strife as its iconic hero. Generally, I predictably fangirl over the main hero and don’t pay much attention to side characters, much less a missable one XD So it came as a complete surprise that I found myself falling for Vincent Valentine, an optional character in the game XD He is a mysterious man of few words, and I loved that tall, dark and brooding thing he had going on ♥

Version 1 features Vincent in the spinoff game Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, in which he made the leap from optional character to main protagonist ♥ I wanted the design to be dark and cool, and I incorporated various shooter elements into the design, such as the blood splats and the menu rollovers with the targets :3
